International Makeup Artistry Trade Show

IMATS!  One of the biggest shows where thousands of make-up artists, beauty enthusiasts & vendors all come together under one roof!  Whether it’s new products entering the industry, education or make-up demonstrations in film, fashion or beauty, you will definitely be in make-up heaven.  Products are deeply discounted, so for all of you make-up junkies bring extra coins.

As for me, this will be my 2^nd year attending this must see fabulous show!  This year it will take place on April 6^th -7^th.  Unfortunately, I’m only able to make it one day on the 7^th, due to booked make-up appointments!  So please enjoy the show and share with us your experience!  We’d love to hear from you!

Spring Cleaning! Update Your Makeup Bag

Spring is finally here, not only should you be thinking about spring cleaning your wardrobe but also spring clean your makeup bag as well. Studies have shown that makeup should be thrown away after a certain period of time. If it is not thrown away it can cause major issues including eye and bacterial infections. According to Pop Sugar: you should only keep mascara for about three months, foundation for one year, eyeshadow for almost a year and a half, and nail polish for one year. Makeup expires after time, and you don't want to put expired makeup on your skin. World Famous singer "Tina Turner" graces the cover of the German Vogue

"Simply the best" is the title of the vogue cover that Ms. Turner is gracing.  Yes, at the age of 73 she appears on the April 2013 issue of the German Vogue, looking simply Fabulous!  Her musical career has spanned more than half a century.  I remember as a child, I would put on my grandmothers red heels and sing "River Deep, Mountain High" until my voice was hoarse.  I wonder, does this mean that the icon will be releasing a new album?
